Sphinx was obtained by crossing two varieties - Strasensky and Timur. The author of the variety is V. Zagorulko. The variety has been successfully tested and recommended for cultivation in many areas of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, as well as in our country.
The hand of the same breeder belong to Ruta, Vodogray and Viking.

The plant has high frost resistance and withstands temperatures down to -23 -25 degrees. At the same time, gardeners need to remember that grapes are a heat-loving crop, therefore, when grown in our climate zone, it is recommended to take care of good shelter for the winter.
The Beauty of the North, Super Extra and Pink Flamingo have the same high winter resistance.
The variety is quite unpretentious to the landing time. It can be planted in the fall and spring. In autumn, seedlings are recommended to be planted in September or early October (before the first frost), and in spring in late April or May.
Remember that by the time of disembarkation the earth should warm up well and the night frosts will end.
Grapes like good abundant watering. To keep moisture in the soil longer, gardeners are recommended to do mulching.
