Pork repression: In Poland, about 200 thousand wild boars are shot out due to ASF outbreak

This was reported by one of the Polish radio stations, adding that cases of ASF outbreaks have already been noticed in Varmino-Mazursky, Podlyansky, Lublinsky and in the Subcarpathian voivodship.

The chief veterinarian of the country reported that about 3.3 thousand cases were registered.

Shoot the livestock of wild boars will be in those forest areas where animals that have died from infection were found. Since the ASF virus was detected in Poland in 2014, the authorities are concerned that the disease does not reduce the sales of pork in the world market.
