Behind researches of the breeder, kiwi can maintain their livelihoods at a temperature of -22 ° C, and begin to grow and resume, after the cold, at a temperature of 13-15 ° C. 
Straton conducts his experiments on 4-year-old trees, on the open field, absolutely not adhering to any "tropical" conditions.
