The fall in prices for sweet peppers on the Ukrainian shelves was so significant that today this product can be bought 15% cheaper than just a week ago. Especially cheapened red pepper - by as much as 23%. While the same vegetable, but in a yellow color scheme, reduced its value by only 13%.
“Today, on the shelves of Ukrainian supermarkets and in the markets, Bulgarian pepper can be bought at an average price of $ 1.6 per kilogram,” experts say. “Red pepper costs about 1.4-1.5 dollars, but a kilogram of yellow costs about 1.8 dollars. "
Meanwhile, all over the world there has been a tendency for the price of sweet pepper to rise. In the neighboring Poland of Ukraine this week, the price of a vegetable increased by 11%, and today a kilogram of product in Polish stores is sold for 1.46 US dollars. In Russia, the price for the same amount of pepper reaches $ 2 per kilo.
