Krasokhina Svetlana Ivanovna belongs to the hereditary dynasty of winegrowers and breeders. Today, there is no grape lover who would not know her father - Kostrykin Ivan Alexandrovich, because he not only put his whole life on the breeding of new plant varieties, but also became the founder of the national school of grape selection. Having absorbed all her love for the vine from her father, Svetlana Ivanovna decided to continue his work.

But despite this, she began work on the selection of grapes back in 1988, under the close supervision of her own father. After graduating, Krasokhina is working on her PhD thesis, which she successfully defended already in 2001 and becomes a candidate of sciences in the specialty "Fruit Growing, Viticulture".
The diploma of the candidate of science opens for her a new level in the development of her beloved business, and very soon the young scientist produces a huge number of successful grape varieties within the walls of her native All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Viticulture and Wine-Making. That is why, in a short time, amateur gardeners and large industrial enterprises began to queue behind the seedlings of grapes Krasokhina. 
Today, Svetlana Ivanovna is a Candidate of Sciences, a researcher at the laboratory of breeding and ampelography, in which she is working on breeding new varieties of cultivated plants by isolating genetic sources of biologically valuable traits.

- "Assol": grapes, which has an average ripening period (about 130 days). In temperate climates, the berries ripen in the first half of September. Bushes in sizes not big. Clusters are large, weighing up to 700 g, small berries. The mass of an average berry is about 3 g, they belong to the 2nd class of seedlessness. The shape of the berries is slightly oblong, there is a point on the upper part, the color is in most cases bright pink shades. The taste is pleasant and holistic. The flesh is juicy. Fruitful shoots on a bush no more than 60%. The variety is resistant to downy mildew;
- "Kishmish Novocherkassky": a plant of medium or late maturation. The optimal time for first crops in a temperate climate zone is the beginning of September. The clusters are not large in size, weighing about 400 g. Berries are of medium size and belong to the 4th class of seedlessness. The weight of an average berry is within 3 g, and their shape is oval, occasionally ovoid. The color of the fruit is within the pink shades. The flesh is fleshy and juicy, the taste is holistic, the number of fruitful shoots varies between 70-90%. The variety is resistant to gray rot and downy mildew;
- "Yasya": one of the newest varieties, the berries ripen early, no later than the end of July. Clusters are large, their weight is within 600 g, and in some cases up to 1 kg. The berries are large, the mass of 1 berry is within 5-6 g, oval in shape, violet shades prevail in color. The flesh is juicy, fleshy, with a holistic muscat flavor. Grapes belong to class 1-2 seedlessness. The number of fruitful shoots in the range of 70-80%. The variety is resistant to mycosis of various origins.

- "Alex": a variety that ripens early (no more than 120 days). The bushes are large, the clusters are large, reaching a mass of about 1 kg. The berries are white and fairly large in size, which is very noticeable compared to other varieties, oval in shape. Their average weight is within 14 g. The flesh is dense, juicy and fleshy. The taste is pleasant. The number of fruitful shoots does not exceed 60% of the total mass. The variety is not damaged by wasps and shows noticeable resistance to pathogens of gray mold, true and downy mildew;
Important! If you have taken measures to breed the “Alex” variety on your own plot, remember - this plant develops best on the southern and western slopes.
- "Talisman": the fruits of the plant ripen early (no more than 130 days). The clusters are small, but reach an average weight of 800-1100 g. The berries are very large, which is also noticeable to the naked eye: the average weight of a single berry is in the range of 11-15 g. With full care, berries are light shades (mostly white). The taste is holistic, with full ripeness a slight nutmeg is added to the overall taste. The number of fruitful shoots is approaching the maximum level and is about 70-90%. Resistance to downy mildew and gray rot - increased;
- "Golden"(Galbena Nou): an early variety of moderate geographic latitude that matures for 110-120 days. Bushes are tall. The grapes are large, but their weight does not exceed 700 grams. The berries are large, on average their weight is no more than 8 grams. They are rounded or oval in shape, and the color variety of the berries is in the limit of soft green shades. The fruitfulness of the shoots does not exceed 80%. Zolotinka shows resistance to gray rot and downy mildew.
Important! One of the main rules for growing the Zolotinka variety is timely chasing of a young plant: it protects the bush from the complex interweaving of branches.

Technical grape varieties Krasokhina occupy more than one catalog, but the most popular are only a few. They managed to conquer the manufacturer, first of all, by high yields and increased, relative to competitors, technological characteristics. Among them it is worth noting:
- "Platovskiy": a very early grape, its ripening period lasts no more than 115 days. The clusters are medium in size, and their mass does not exceed 200 g. The berries are small, round, their mass is not more than 2 g. The color of the berries is mostly white, but a characteristic pinkish tint appears in the sun. The flesh is juicy, the upper skin of the berry is distinguished by a thin, but firm skin. The taste is pleasant and uniform. The number of fruitful shoots reaches 85%. The variety is resistant to severe frosts (down to -29 ° C), as well as to gray rot, false and true mealy dew, phylloxera;
Important! In order to achieve high yields, plants of the variety “Platovskiy” must be subjected to timely hiding and removal of old shoots.
- "Muscat Pridonsky": grapes late ripening (not earlier than the first half of September). The clusters are small, their average mass does not exceed 250 g. The berries are small, round, mostly green and white, fleshy and juicy. Their taste is homogeneous, contains a noticeable nutmeg note. Fertility of shoots reaches 95%. The variety shows resistance to severe frosts (up to -27 ° C) without additional shelter, and is also not susceptible to phylloxera. In the production of Muscat Pridonskogo make good sparkling wines.
