A meeting was held today at which the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Kutovoy, together with the management of the state enterprise Ukrspirt, discussed the calculation of the cost of alcohol of a state enterprise in order to reduce it at the request of market participants. "Taking into account the planned increase in excise, and an additional increase in the cost of other pricing elements, I consider it advisable to recommend abolishing the additional price increase, because it may adversely affect the vodka industry. Also, being in constant contact with market participants, analyze and monitor cost in order unprofitable operations for state-owned enterprises ", - said the Minister.
Earlier, Taras Kutov held a meeting with participants of the vodka market, at which they discussed the cost of alcohol. Following the meeting, the Minister instructed to make every effort to reduce the cost of production of the state enterprise "Ukrspirt" in a very short time.
