According to the director of the Ukrainian Association of Suppliers of Retail Networks, Aleksey Doroshenko, by the end of February, the rise in prices for dairy products in Ukraine will increase by 3%. “Today, we are witnessing the“ swinging ”of prices for dairy products. Processing plants are trying by all means to reduce the purchase price for milk, and due to this, to halt the rise in prices for dairy products in Ukraine, however, farms strongly resist such an initiative. But the decline in prices This group of goods should not be exactly expected, ”the expert noted.
Alexey Doroshenko also stressed that the cost of the final dairy product includes not only the purchase price for milk, but also the wages of employees in enterprises, along with the cost of gas, electricity and water. Due to the fact that the prices for all this in Ukraine are only increasing, the price of dairy products will also increase. Doroshenko shared his opinion that it would be more profitable for Ukrainians to import cheese from abroad and stop domestic production. Such a fate can be shared by cheese, if dairy products, in the coming months, do not stop their growth.
