This hybrid variety shows a relatively high resistance to diseases such as cladosporiosis, tobacco mosaic, nematode and fusarium. Tomato "Olya" can be grown both in greenhouse conditions and in open ground.

The unripe fruits of this variety are green in color, and when ripe, it becomes bright red. They are characterized by an average size and a flat-round slightly ribbed shape. Their diameter is usually between sixty and seventy millimeters.

The fruit of tomato variety “Olya” can have from four to six chambers. It contains from 5.3% to 6.4% of dry matter.. The weight of the fruit is usually 130-140 grams, but it can reach 180. Features of growing

To grow this variety in open ground, in a greenhouse, under a film, or in a polycarbonate greenhouse, you must first start seedling. First you need to prepare the right soil. It should consist of one part of peat, one part of sawdust and two parts of greenhouse earth.

Sawdust should be pre-filled with boiling water, and then twice poured with a solution of urea, brought to a boil. To prepare this solution in one liter of boiling water you need to dissolve one tablespoon of urea.

In one bucket of soil mix, add two handfuls of crushed shell of chicken eggs, as well as half a liter of ash and two or three tablespoons of superphosphate or potassium sulfate. After thorough mixing, pour a hot solution of potassium permanganate into the ground, and then wait until the earth has completely cooled down and fill it with a container for growing seeds to exactly half.

Planting seeds should be done in March, and in May you can plant seedlings in open ground. Provide every bush a solid support, tie them up and after a hundred days you can expect the appearance of the crop. The plant does not require grazing after the appearance of the first brush, but it needs regular watering and mineral-organic fertilization.

As a fertilizer for tomatoes, you can use:

  • Organic.
  • Mineral compounds.
  • Iodine.
  • Yeast.
  • Hydrogen peroxide.
  • Ammonia.
  • Ash.
  • Boric acid.

Mulching will help in weed control.

Although the “Olya” f1 tomato is highly resistant to most diseases, it can be affected by such diseases as late blight, rot and brown spot. For late blight characterized by the appearance of brown spots on the leaves of plants and whitish on the inside.
