The number of Ukrainian producers of certified organic berries is about a hundred. The most popular culture they have is raspberry, said the director of the certification body "Organic Standard" Sergey Galashevsky.
51 organic berries growers grow raspberries over an area of over 280 hectares, 19 entrepreneurs grow strawberries in a total area of slightly more than 25 hectares. Under the blueberry took 25 hectares of 10 organic farms. Six farms grow blackberries and currants on land of 15 and 5 hectares respectively.

The market for organic berries continues to grow and expand and the pace of this development remains steadily high. At the same time, the demand for organic products is growing much faster than their supply, Sergei Galashevsky noted.
