The newly born chickens after a day have black fluff and white spots on the tummy. In females, farmers note a bright spot on their heads, which does not create problems in the selection of female and male birds.

Roosters have a paler plumage than hens.. The birds have a medium-sized head; the crest is leaf-shaped, it is fleshy and colored bright red. Earrings and the front area are also scarlet. Eyes - bulging, brown. The body is long and voluminous, and loose feathers of medium length visually make the chicken even larger. The rib cage is solid, strong and wide, the bones are heavy and dense.

Particularly charming Amrox gives a wide, fluffy tail. Legs - strong, bright yellow.

Features

The advantages of breeding these birds include rapid growth and rapid adaptation to environmental conditions. Chicken is common in Russia and very popular due to simple conditions of detention and excellent productive indicators.

By the way, there is another variety of these chickens - dwarf Amrox, which were also bred in Germany. By all indications, they are similar to their larger counterparts, but the weight in chickens reaches only 1.2 kg, and in roosters - up to 1.5 kg.

Adult females reach a little over 2 kg., And males even more - their weight is 3.5 kg. Birds become mature by 5.5 months of life, rush all year round and produce more than 200 eggs.

Celebrated slight decrease in productivity in the second year of life - birds carry fewer eggs. On average, eggs weigh 58 g, and their shell is light brown in color.

Cultivation and maintenance

Layers also become chicks at the same time, so that the offspring hatch and grow without much trouble. Chicks feather surprisingly quickly. The maintenance and cultivation of these birds will be even for amateur poultry farmers, because the chickens of this breed are unpretentious and viable.
